Terms of Service

QWS is a social site at qws.no.sa where people share posts, pages, communities, questions and favourites. It is run by an independent freelancer in Saudi Arabia ("we", "us"). Contact: hay@no.sa.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, and you must give accurate information. Do not create an account for someone else without their permission, or pretend to be someone you are not.

Keep your password secret, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account. If you think your account has been used without your permission, sign out of every device from Account and change your password.

• You own what you post. Your content remains yours.
• You give QWS a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, display and distribute your content as needed to run the service. That includes resizing or formatting pictures, making previews, showing your content to other users, and making public profiles and communities available to search engines.
• That licence lasts while your content is on QWS. When you delete content, we stop showing it and delete our copies, except copies in backups that are removed in time, copies that others have already shared (for example in a repost), and records we must keep by law or to prevent abuse.
• You are responsible for your content, and you must have the rights to post it.

Information, posters, covers, previews and trailers for films, series, anime, games and music come from third-party services (see the About page). Those materials belong to their owners and are also subject to those services' terms. Do not upload pictures or text you have no right to use.

You must not:

• harass, threaten, bully, stalk or intimidate anyone;
• post hate speech, or content that attacks people because of who they are;
• post any sexual content involving minors. We act on such content at once and report it where the law requires;
• post sexual or graphically violent content that breaks these terms or the rules of the community where it is posted;
• share illegal content, or promote illegal activity;
• share someone's private information (such as their address, phone number or private pictures) without their permission;
• impersonate another person, or claim to be QWS staff or a company you are not connected with;
• send spam, buy or fake engagement, or manipulate follows, votes, views or reports;
• use bots, scrapers, crawlers or scripts to collect data or to make requests to the site, or use the site in a way it is not meant to be used, unless we have given you written permission;
• get around request limits, bans, suspensions or blocks;
• try to access other people's accounts, probe or test our systems without written permission, or upload malware;
• misuse the reporting or support tools, for example by making false or bad-faith reports.

Use the report button for content or people that break these terms. We review reports, and we may remove content, warn you, limit your account, suspend it for a set time (while suspended you can sign in and read, but you cannot post or change things), deactivate it, or end it permanently. Where the action is about your account, we will tell you the reason when we can. We may act without notice where needed to protect people or to comply with the law.

The people who create a community are its owners. Owners, and the moderators they appoint, are responsible for setting and enforcing the community's rules within these terms, for handling bans and join requests fairly, and for keeping the community's content lawful. We may remove communities that break these terms, and our staff can step in at any time.

Some features are limited to Premium accounts. What Premium includes is shown in the app, and we may change those perks over time. Where paid plans are offered, the terms shown at the time of purchase apply in addition to these terms.

Use support tickets for help with your account or the service. We try to reply, but we do not promise a fixed response time.

We may add, change or remove features, and we may interrupt the service for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available or free of errors.

You can delete your account at any time from Account > Account > Delete account. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms. When an account ends, its content and personal data are removed as described in the Privacy Policy.

The QWS name, logo, design, software and other materials belong to an independent freelancer or its licensors. You may use them only as these terms allow, or with our written permission. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.

QWS is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that content posted by other users or by third-party services is accurate.

To the extent the law allows, an independent freelancer is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data or lost profits, or for content posted by other users or by third-party services. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the applicable law.

These terms are governed by the laws of Saudi Arabia. Disputes are heard by the competent courts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, unless mandatory law gives you another forum. The Arabic and English versions are both provided; if they differ, the Arabic version applies.

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and for material changes we will tell you in the app before they take effect. If you keep using QWS after that, you accept the new terms.
